What's involved in Group Training Sessions?
A mix of functional, strength, cardio/conditioning or boxing training.

They are great if you:

  • like training with others

  • enjoy variety

  • don't like big classes in commercial gyms

  • want to get fitter and stronger

  • want to supplement personal training with group training

Our members love our group training sessions

  • Great way to mix up your training program.

  • Our group classes are fun, energetic, and social.

  • Everyone can do it - we can cater to all fitness levels with modified exercises.

  • You go at your own pace.

  • Focus is on form over speed so there is less chance of an injury.

  • The only competition is against yourself as you improve each week.

  • There are no tests, time trails, or shouty drills here.

  • Great trainers who motivate and encourage you to push yourself to the next level.

  • Are there membership fees?
We don't charge a membership fee to join our personal training gym. It's a pay as you go system, where there is an initial six week commitment with our reboot program and we ask you to commit 3 months at a time.
  • How long are personal training sessions?
Most personal training sessions run for 45 minutes to give time for a warm up and cool down as part of your session. Choose from 30, 45 or 60 min sessions that are programmed just for you.
  • I'm worried I'm not fit enough. Does that matter?
Not at all. All fitness levels and abilities are welcome at our personal training gym. We're here to support you in your training goals. You may be starting out with weight training, coming back from an injury, haven't exercised in a long while, or be a seasoned athlete that needs our help. Our trainers know how to modify exercises to match your ability or what you're capable of if you're coming back from an injury. It's a judgement free zone here at The Strength Agenda - come try for yourself.
  • Will you give me a nutrition plan?
Yes, we can design a nutrition plan based on your likes, dislikes and goals.
  • Can you give a sample personal training session plan
Absolutely! Here is an example of a personal training session plan from The Strength Agenda: • Warm Up: 5-10 minutes of dynamic stretching and light cardio • Strength Training: Movements focusing on building muscle, such as weighted squats and bench presses • Metabolic Conditioning: High intensity intervals to increase your heart rate and burn calories • Core Training: Exercises to strengthen your core muscles, such as planks and medicine ball slams • Cool Down: 5-10 minutes of stretching and foam rolling to reduce soreness and aid recovery
  • What kind of exercises do you do?
Our group sessions are whole body workouts. - warm up - activation - mobility - functional movements - strength training and more.
  • How are the classes run?
All classes are designed to be suitable for all fitness levels, and our coaches can help you adjust exercises to your own level. Classes are generally run in two types of formats. 1. Circuit training involves performing a series of exercises in a circuit for a set number of repetitions or for time. 2. AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) involves performing a series of exercises for a set amount of time, scoring the number of repetitions achieved during that time. Everyone goes at their own pace, there's no competing and no pressure. We all finish at the same time.
  • What if I can't come every week?
Most of our members use group classes to compliment their personal training sessions. When you join you have the option to include in your weekly plan or buy a 10 pack that can be used at any time over a 3 month period.
  • How many people in your classes
We run small, intimate group classes with a maximum of 15 people. In the summer months there may be more as outdoor options are available.
  • How much are group classes?
Depends on how many classes you do a week. You can try the first class on us, with the option to buy 10 packs, a casual visit or include with your weekly personal training program.
